Hi There, I have a Squid box (2.7 stable) with squidguard and all blacklists installed on Ubuntu 10.04 server. The Squid is setup to listen to port 3128 transparent. When I pint point my browser to squid it works fine (blocking sites).
Now I have made Squid the default gateway in the company, the good news it’s accepting all the traffic but squidguard is not doing it’s job (not blocking) and no logs in Squid. I also copied the gateway script that you have under your squid in my IpTables and still no luck. Any ideas ?
I’ve been struggle with this now for nearly 2 weeks and driving me crazy. Any help please ??
Hi,
Please check appropriate log for further investigation. Configure a Squidguard with only simple rule. Please check the Beow link, may useful for u .
